How do people know that? So I call homeowners most of the day. Some calls I've already talked to them before, some are the first time I'm talking to them. It's always about how can we help with anything, not you need to sell or buy now. But, I get it, hearing "this is Kate Hayfer with Southern Classic Realtors", I do get a ton of "we're not selling, we're gonna die in this house." It's always strange to me when I hear that. Then I think, how in the world do they know that?

All kidding aside, if you're in it for the long haul, like we are, I hope you're making your house your own, the way you want it. I'm talking, paint it the colors you want, design it the way you want, get that pool if you want, make it your happy place.
